Life is not fair is something we always say here, but is it really true?
What if you were to plant tomatoes and I were to plant carrots? 
We would then be able to trade and barter with each other and use them in a fair way.
Specializing in what we do best and then working with others to get what we need makes more sense.
What we don't want is a situation where a few people hoard all the resources at the expense of the majority.

PERMACULTURE PRINCIPLES:

Nothing is free, and everything has a cost in energy.
Somehow you have to compensate when you use energy.

OBTAIN A YIELD

Change is constant and you can either fear it or embrace it. Change will not stop, however you choose to deal with it.

CHANGE OR BE CHANGED

Living on the edge is exciting, and where two boundaries meet is usually where you will find a lot of activity. Don't be afraid to step outside your comfort zone, like taking a different route home from work.

THE EDGE IS WHERE ALL OF THE MAGIC HAPPENS

Don't put all of your eggs in one basket...
Spread the risk by planting different crops, and then if one doesn't grow, you will not starve in the winter.

MOVE TOWARDS DIVERSITY

It just makes since to start small and scale up from there. 
Most big companies started small and then now just a few of them control the world. 

START SMALL AND DON'T RUSH

WE ARE MUCH STRONGER TOGETHER

Think about the big plan, and then break it down into small steps that you can start doing today.

WORK FROM PATTERNS TO DETAILS

Consuming less means producing less waste. 
Small steps can make a big difference in reducing our waste, such as not using plastic bags and buying bulk.

WORK TOWARDS ZERO WASTE

It is important to be aware of your surroundings and to be present as well. 
Learn from your mistakes and always work to be better than you are today!

SELF REGULATE AND ACCEPT FEEDBACK

Energy is the currency of the universe. It's important to create systems that make the most of it.
For example, rainwater harvesting and storage will provide you with water in times of drought. 

CATCH AND STORE ENERGY

The more renewable resources we use, the less we need to waste.
To live lighter on the land, choose renewable resources first whenever possible.
